Recruiting and actively engaging community partners to disseminate campaign messaging around OUD is essential to changing knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs of Kentuckians.
As a partner of UNSHAME Kentucky, you will be a leader within your community by:
1. Sharing stigma reduction content and stories of people directly affected by opioid use disorder;
2. Inviting your community to attend UNSHAME webinars;
3. Leveraging your organization’s listserv to share upcoming UNSHAME events, as well as in-person events hosted by other UNSHAME partner organizations; and
4. Providing feedback on the campaign to the UNSHAME Kentucky Campaign.
Your partnership can drive the creation of a safer, more welcoming, and better-quality world for people with OUD.
We rely on community partners to foster relationships within the community and provide insight into the current state of addiction stigma in Kentucky. Community partners have invaluable ties to community members and are critical to the success of the campaign in reducing stigma.
