Our Partners

Recruiting and actively engaging community-based organizations to disseminate campaign messaging around OUD is essential to changing knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs of the general public at scale.

Become a Partner

As a partner of UNSHAME Kentucky, you will be seen as a leader within your community by sharing anti-stigma content and stories of people directly affected by opioid use disorder; inviting your community to attend one of UNSHAME’s monthly webinars; leveraging your organization’s listserv to share upcoming UNSHAME events, as well as in-person events hosted by other UNSHAME partner organizations; and providing feedback on the campaign to the UNSHAME Kentucky Program Coordinator and Community Impact Committee. Partners will soon have access to a community portal to connect with friends, colleagues, advocates, and professionals interested in anti-stigma work. Membership will include additional campaign resources, private clubs, job boards, and mentoring services.

Your partnership encourages changed behavior amongst those that may hold stigmatizing views and can drive the creation of a safer, more welcoming, and better-quality world for people who use drugs, are in active addiction, or are in recovery from opioid use disorder (OUD).

We rely on community-based organizations (CBOs) to foster relationships within the community and provide insight into the current state of addiction stigma in Kentucky. CBOs have invaluable ties to community members, and Shatterproof recognizes that CBOs are critical to the success of the campaign and ultimately, reducing stigma.
