Ashley is a mom who has spent her career supporting people with substance use disorder, including pregnant women.

Ashley remembers a time that one of the moms in her group transferred to a new doctor who wasn't educated on the effective role medication for opioid use disorder can play for pregnant people in recovery. Ashley advocated for that mom, and everything worked out—but that's not always the case. Help us spread the word: MOUD is effective, including during pregnancy.
