When our families show up for us, it can make a world of difference.
Holly's sister believed in her when she didn't believe in herself. As a person with opioid use disorder, that support helped Holly overcome barriers to recovery, like self-stigma. "I didn't think I deserved anybody's love, even my own," Holly says. "Thank goodness for my sister. If it wasn't for her believing in me, I wouldn't be where I am today."
