Mark's Support Network Now Includes his Family

Updated: Oct 25

As a kid, Mark didn't feel very connected to his family.

As a kid, Mark didn't feel very connected to his family. He ended up joining the military, where he turned to substances to cope with the difficulties he was experiencing. Although his friends were also using substances, Mark noticed they affected him differently, and he found himself unable to stop when he wanted to.

When Mark decided to seek help, he discovered there were people eager to help him in his recovery journey. He's grateful for his large support network, especially now that it includes his family. Nowadays, he's got the connection with them that he always wanted. "I don't have to try and change them for anything," Mark says, "I love them just like they are."
