Join us for UNSHAME KY's September webinar, Combating OUD Stigma within the Workplace and Cultivating Transformative Leaders, a presentation and panel discussion on the stigma those in recovery face within the workforce and the role employers can play in supporting their employees with opioid use disorder (OUD).

Dr. Jason Roop of the Technology Training Center and Campbellsville University, will present his research on the leadership traits of people in recovery and applying those traits towards positive change and progress within an organization. Featured panelists will also provide insight on barriers to employment for workers in recovery; the components of an effective job placement program; and opportunities to promote a work culture and climate that is supportive of long-term recovery. 

Learning Objectives: In this month's webinar, we will:

• Identify leadership traits held by people with a history of substance use disorder
• Review the impact of OUD stigma and additional barriers to employment
• Identify strategies for employers to support persons with a history of OUD
