Join us for the virtual launch of UNSHAME Kentucky: a statewide public awareness movement that strives to end the stigma associated with opioid use disorder (OUD) and reverse the addiction crisis. This webinar event will include an overview of the UNSHAME Kentucky initiative and a presentation on commonly used terms and concepts related to addiction, as well as, alternate, person-centered language that objectively communicates OUD as a treatable medical condition. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how public beliefs and attitudes are shared throughout our culture and can directly play a role in the lives and path to recovery of individuals with substance use disorder (SUD).
