Whether someone with substance use disorder (SUD) is discharged from inpatient care, has completed residential treatment, or is released from incarceration, the transition back to their community or the workforce can be a challenging one. There are several factors that can impact the reentry process, including family support, stable housing, education and employment, and access to behavioral health that have the power to affect an individual’s short- and long-term success.
Our November webinar will feature a panel discussion on several of these barriers and the evidence-based programs and strategies that address the specific needs of individuals with SUD while promoting recovery, reducing recidivism, and improving public safety and public health.
